In Verona, Italy, Romeo and Juliet fall in love at first sight - despite their families’ ancient grudge. In a world of “us” versus “them,” the lovers secretly marry and hope for a future where they can love freely.
Co-produced by Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble and the Classical Theatre of Harlem, this pared down production will transform academic spaces into the streets of Verona, giving students a front row seat to a unique theatrical experience. For one night only, we are bringing this production to the public!
